Eating In and Out

We're fortunate to have a wealth of dining choices in Charleston. Fig is my favorite place to take folks visiting from out of town. Chef Mike Lata never fails to impress with fresh, local ingredients and a fabulous selection of wines.

Goat Sheep

is a little shop just around the corner from my house. I love to pop in for a custom cheese plate and bottle of wine. Their olive oil is divine and a great hostess gift!

I have a
passion for

Pottery Pottery

pottery dishes and serving pieces. Maria White is a Charleston artisan living in L.A. whose work I adore.

I travel frequently for business and always try to find interesting places to eat in every city. Some of my go-to establishments in New York City include:

The Little Owl
Sasabune Sushi
Locanda Verde

Dim Sum in China Town if I have time – I prefer brunch as the dim sum is at its freshest

Le Bernardin
La Grenouille
Nomad Hotel

Near my office, is perfect for a working dinner!

I do enjoy cooking when there is time. The Junior League of Charleston's classic Charleston Receipts and Phaidon's the Silver Spoon cookbook are my standbys for foolproof weeknight recipes.

Craque Biscuits

I try to have hors d'oeuvres such as rosemary nut mix and my signature "Craque" biscuits on hand to feed drop in guests.
